I wanted a metal bed to replace a four-poster that was part of a complete cherry bedroom suite. The Lucinda bed is perfect! The russet highlights complement the cherry furniture, and the gold highlights blend with the brass hardware on my bedroom pieces. The bed was simple to assemble and took about 10 to 15 minutes with a helper, start to finish. It is very sturdy and solid. But best of all, it is really beautiful. The only thing I don't like is that when my bed is made, my pillows cover too much of the pretty headboard.
