Oxford Swivel Bar Stool (without arms) - Pastel Furniture

STURDINESS - I needed a sturdy stool for my kitchen island that could hold the big guys in the family. This stool is very well constructed, with sturdy steel and welded joints, rather than screwed in that loosen and end up falling apart. ATTRACTIVE - The color is great and very neutral! The seat is easy to wipe clean. Just enough design to make it attractive, without so much design that it would be difficult to dust clean. COMFORT - The circular design of the seat and the foot rest position is great, my other stools would cut off the circulation on the back of my legs and my feet would swell. We sit on these stools for long periods of time and are very comfortable.ASSEMBLY - It took longer to get rid of the all the packaging that protected the stools in shipping, than it was for me (not my husband) to assemble. It came in two pieces and instructions (which I really didn't need). All that was needed was a Phillips screwdriver (no fancy hex tool) for the 4 screws of each stool.CARE - The bottom of the feet have good vinyl pads. I added the felt pad because we have hard surface flooring to make it easy to slide back into position at the snack bar. I was also looking for a stool with a non directional design (foot rest is all the way around, not just in the front), so the stools didn't have to be set a specific way. The rotation of the seat is perfectly set - not too easy that it turns too quickly to hit the counter top, but easy enough that you don't struggle to turn.[...].I would recommend these stools (or any metal stool manufactured by Pastel) and this web company to deal with. The price was the best I could find on line. I tried finding stools within a 100 mile radius to purchase at a store, but there wasn't anything like this - it was all cheap stuff that would fall apart or so expensive that I wouldn't have enjoyed them. [...] I am very confident that these will last my lifetime (at least 30 more years). They'll go out of style before they need to be replaced.

The stools were delivered sooner than I expected and in mint condition. They were foam wrapped, in a plastic bag and then boxed in two, easy to assemble pieces.
