The bed was very easily put together and well made. The skirting around the bed is a very nice touch, gives a great look matching the headboard and bonus, easy on the ankles and shins if you inadvertently bang into them. One different design aspect I also really like is the four "feet" are cylindrical instead of the angled iron that you break your toes on. The only thing is, and all frame manufacturers have never changed this basic design from day one, those "feet", in my opinion could be set in a bit farther so toes could never reach them. This is just one example of things being done only because "that's the way it's always been done". I did speak to someone and also sent a diagram of how this slight set in could be accomplished without compromising the stability of the bed but, who listens to me. In any event, we ARE very happy with the bed. (btw, if you ever do set the feet in, I want a comp bed frame for my idea. This would also set your company apart from all others.)
