Tiling can be incredibly appealing once it is done right. However, we can’t deny the fact that the common monochromatic tile layout is becoming too safe of a style. That said, we came up with five new approaches to tiling for both your walls and your floors.
Designing a Splashback with Style
Adding some texture or patterns on your counter splashback can add some fun to your kitchen time. Also, we do need a break from the subway tiles aesthetic.
Unique Wall Tile Layout
Creating a different shape or a pattern with the tile layout on your wall can easily bring life into your bathrooms. It can also be laid out to suit existing decorative or functional pieces.
An Accent Tiled Wall
If you have access to some high-quality stone tiles, pick an entire wall to put them on. Let these panels lift the décor and contrast the space.
Alive with Pattern
Patterned tiles can make your floors more lively and dynamic. Some great patterns include geometrics or Moroccan styles, and they work great with strategic color boosts. These are especially effective when placed in rooms with much activity going on.
